You can’t dictate to us anymore, PANDEF, Afenifere, Ohanaeze, Middle Belt tell North

The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, SMBLF, on Wednesday, warned that it will no longer allow a section of the country to play any supremacist role over others. The forum said this, in a communique, after an emergency meeting held in Abuja. The communique was signed by Chief EK Clark (PANDEF Leader), AVM Idongesit Nkanga, Chief Broderick Bozimo, Mr. Solomon Asemota (SAN), Senator Bassey Henshaw, Prof GG Darah and Chief T k O Okorotie. Others are Chief Ayo Adebanjo (for Afenifere Leader), Mr Yinka Odumakin, Senator Kofoworola Akerele-Buknor, Oba Oladipo Olaitan, Senator Femi Okunrounmu, Chief Supo Sonibare, Chief Demola Folarin, Dr. Akin Fapohunda. Chief John Nwodo (President General, Ohanaeze), Chief Guy Ikokwu, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Mr. Chuks Muomah SAN, Mr. Mike Ahamba SAN, Mr. Madu Bright O Allwell, Chuks Achi-Okpaga, Chief Alex Ogbonnia. Dr. Pogu Bitrus (President, Middle Belt Forum), Air Commoder Dan Suleiman (retd), Dr. S D Gani, Elder Stephen Bangoji, Hon Jonathan Asake, Mr. Chris Aba, Mr. Mark Jacob and Mr. Festus Nyiwo. Reacting to the meeting of Northern states’ Governors with Northern Emirs and Chiefs and Arewa leaders in topmost positions in the current regime held on Monday, the leaders reiterated it’s call for restructuring before the 2023 general elections. The communique reads: “The meeting coming aftermath of the ENDSARS protest when we should be putting heads together nationally to seek solutions to our problems is most distractive, divisive and made Nigeria widely scattered as against the ‘indivisibility’ and other non-sequitors that were regurgitated at the end of it. “Where would this country be heading to if we also decide to call our own meeting with our Governors and top officials in the Federal Government? We do not see any responsibility displayed by those who have been serially accused of sectionalising our national government to allow such in sensibility, insensitivity and total subversion of the unity of the country that only exists on the lips of those behind the meeting. “It not also lost on us that the communique of the meeting was making space for National Executive Council nominations to a sectional initiative as the utmost level of disregard to the rest of the country whom they are treating as serfs when we are supposed to joint and equal stakeholders in project Nigeria. “The meeting wondered the quality of humanity of any group meeting at this period of mournings not to have a word of compassion for those that were recklessly murdered by state forces and hired thugs during the protests. “We reject the indecent approach to paste the peaceful protesters in dark colours. They made their demands clear and were orderly before the violent Nigerian state deployed armed soldiers and thugs in 911 lorries against them. “It is wickedness to place ‘our power’ above every other national interest by playing the “regime change” label on the peaceful protesters who were not armed like Boko Haram that the regime is chasing about with negotiations in the same spirit it has been cuddling and pampering killer herdsmen. “We do not see the thoughtfulness in the celebration of Northern youths not participating in ENDSARS protests as if they did not also loot like their deprived young people in other areas of the country which shows they are suffering the same thing. But instead of treating leprosy, our counterparts are dealing with eczema “We foresaw all that is happening now, which is why we have been calling for restructuring as a multi-ethic country like Nigeria can only be run along federal lines. We were not oblivious of the damage the military did to this country by using fiat to create LGAs with headquarters in the villages of top shots mostly from the North. Kano state today has 44 Local Governments and Bayelsa has 80.When you want to recruit 10 policemen per LGA Bayelsa will have 80 and Kano 44O.That affects where the materials to be drawn into SARS and others are drawn. The inequalities multiply everywhere. And this is why we insist on restructuring of the country now before we go for any national election. “We make it abundantly clear to our colleagues from the core North that yesterday ended last night and never again shall this country be run the same old way. No section of the country can play any supremacist role again as if the rest of us are fools. “It is either we live together as equals under the same rules of engagement or we explore other options as dignified human beings. “We deeply mourn with all families who lost dear ones in the crisis we just went through and pray to God to comfort them. May those who wantonly destroyed lives pay grievously for their deeds.”

Maximizing Your Keyword Research For AdWords

When starting with AdWords, it is incredible how many people do not take the time to do the proper keyword research. I know what it is like, you just want to get stuck in and start to make some money from your web site. However, if you dont do your homework, many of the keywords you choose will be useless or wrong. Worst still, you will leave hundreds of keywords uncovered that could make a big difference to the success of your campaign. The easiest way to remember how to do good keyword research for AdWords is too create a seed, then dig deep and go wide. I'll explain what this all means with examples in the rest of this post ... Plant Your Seed plant-a-seed plant-a-seed Keyword research always starts with a seed keyword and a good keyword selection tool. A seed keyword is any short, popular keyword that is related to your market. It is usually a single word or sometimes two that describes the service or product you are selling. For example, imagine you are running a small business that makes chocolates. To market your business with AdWords, you might choose chocolates as your seed keyword. Once you have your seed keyword, you need to expand it into a high-level list of related keywords. You can do this with a keyword selection tool like the Google Keyword Tool. When you type chocolates into the Google Keyword Tool, you might get a list of keywords to select from that starts like this: keyword-list keyword-list The keyword tool provides many ideas that you can add to create your seed list. Keywords like ... luxury chocolates handmade chocolates chocolates by post chocolate hampers personalized chocolates ... are all very relevant to your business. Dig Deep To Find Your Long Tail Keywords digging digging Excellent as the keywords on your seed list maybe, they are still very general. For your AdWords campaign to be a success, you need keywords that are much more specific and targeted to what you have to sell. You are now going to use the seed list you have just created to "dig deep" and find even more keywords for your campaign. Enter each phrase from your seed list into the Google Keyword Tool and pick out from the results, all the relevant phrases that have three or more words in them. These are your long tail keywords. Long tail keywords are generally not as popular as the more general keywords you have been looking at so far. However, they are usually much more targeted. Remember, AdWords is not about being the most popular web site online. It is about selling your products at a profit. Keywords with low search volumes can be a good thing as they typically have less competition and attract a better-qualified visitor. Returning to the chocolates manufacturer example, typing each phrase from your seed keyword list into the Google Keyword Tool provides you with these very useful long tail keywords ... personalized chocolate gifts handmade chocolate truffles chocolate hampers delivered hand made chocolates chocolate gifts by post ... and the list goes on. You've Dug Deep, Now Go Wide harvesting harvesting Your keyword list should by now be getting quite large. However, you can make your list even better by thinking wide. To "go wide, you need to think about the categories that people might search on in order to find your business. For instance, consider the chocolate manufacturer example again. You might want to target occasions like Easter, Valentines Day, Christmas, or Halloween when people usually eat a lot of chocolate. You now have another seed keyword list that you can use that includes keywords like ... Easter chocolate Valentine's day chocolate Christmas chocolate Halloween chocolate This new seed list can now be used to find hundreds more long tail keywords that you can use in your AdWords campaign. It can take time and a lot of work to build a meaningful keyword list. However, good keyword research is the first and most basic step that every advertiser has to take before they can begin to run a successful AdWords campaign. Get this first step wrong and your campaigns are almost certain to fail. At the very least, you are likely to be missing a considerable number of easy sales.

NAIRABET ONE GAME CUT YOUR TICKET

Nairabet insures your accumulator bets. If one game of your ticket doesnt come through you will get a refund. If you’ve read some of our articles including our Nairabet review, you’ll know that we love bookies that provide punters with some sort of insurance, and Nairabet’s ‘one game cut your ticket’ is one of such promos besides its Nairabet bonus for accumulators. As the name indicates, it is a promo that enables punters to get a fraction of their supposed earnings even if one game on the ticket doesn’t come through. As always, the promo has minimum requirements that must be met. one cut refund nairabet © NairaBet ONE GAME CUT YOUR TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS For a ticket or bet slip to qualify for the promo, it must have at least ten games on the ticket and all the games or legs on the ticket must have at least 1.2 odds. If the games or legs on your bet slip are more than 10, please note that all of the games must have 1.2 odds as a minimum. That is, if you have 15 games on your ticket and one of the games has 1.1 odds, the ticket no longer qualifies for the promo even if the other games on the bet slip meet the 1.2 odds requirement. How the Nairabet One Game Cut Your Ticket PayOut or Winnings is Calculated Let’s take a practical example to illustrate this. Imagine you placed a bet with 15 games based on some football betting tips and your calculated earnings amounted to NGN300,000 including an accumulation Nairabet bonus of NGN 50,000. Let’s assume the game that “cut the ticket” has 1.4 odds, then your potential earnings are calculated using the following steps: The NGN50,000 bonus included in the winning is first subtracted, leaving NGN250,000. Next, the 1.4 odds game is excluded by dividing NGN250,000 by 1.4 to give NGN178,571. This NGN178,571 is divided by the number of games on the ticket; 15 in this example. (NGN178,571/15 = NGN11,904.) Furthermore, the stake unit is subtracted from the value calculated in step 3. A stake unit is defined as the money you wagered divided by the number of games on the ticket. Assuming we wagered 500 on the betslip, then the stake unit is NGN33.33. The potential payout is then NGN11,870.67 (NGN11,904 – NGN33.33)

Why you shouldn't buy backlinks?

Buying backlinks is a practice which you may have heard of, but you might not know whether you should do it. Buying backlinks is a Black Hat SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) technique — a way of cheating or misleading Google and other search engines so that your website is ranked higher than it deserves to. If you buy backlinks directly, you’re not doing off-page SEO right. If you pay for a service which helps you to generate exposure, awareness of your brand, and backlinks, that’s a little different. The idea that you can buy quality backlinks is also a popular one, but a backlink which is paid for directly has little to no quality in eyes of most search engines. Why You Should Not Buy Backlinks It’s a practice seen less and less on the internet, but directly paying for someone to link to your website is still done in some dark corners of the internet. Ever seen this advert before? Or perhaps something like it? Advertisement to buy high domain authority links Avoid this pop-up ad like the plague! This is the essence of black hat SEO. If there was ever a link building or SEO strategy to categorically rule out, this would be it. Services like these tend to rely on link farms or really low-quality “news” websites which link out to as many different services as possible. The content on these sorts of websites is often gibberish and the links themselves are worse than useless because they can often have a negative impact on your website’s rankings, rather than no impact at all. In short, it’s just not worth the risk of landing yourself with a Google Penalty. Google’s Stance on Link Buying Google is against most kinds of link building, though many SEO experts will point out that the data doesn’t match Google’s overtures. However, Google is particularly against the exchange of money in return for links. This exchange of money can happen in many ways, and Google doesn’t say that all these so-called “link schemes” will definitely lead to a negative impact on a website’s search engine rankings. Rather, it says that these schemes “can negatively impact a site’s ranking in search results” (emphasis ours). The takeaway from this should be that the more direct and obvious an exchange of money is in return for a link, the less natural it is. The less natural it is, the more likely Google is to punish it. The reason Google uses “can” and not “will” is that there are some link building strategies which — while they involve money — are not as direct as paid-for links. What’s the Difference Between Follow and No Follow Links? We’ve already seen the difference between internal and external links. But there are also follow links and no follow links. No follow is an attribute that can be applied to a backlink by webmasters. It looks like this: rel=”nofollow” It is used to tell search engines “don’t follow this specific link”. But what does this mean? I’m going to quote Google exactly here: “In general, we don’t follow them. This means that Google does not transfer PageRank or anchor text across these links.” On the surface, it looks like Google does not count no follow links at all. But they’ve qualified everything they’ve said by putting the phrase “in general” ahead of the rest. Why would they say this unless sometimes they did follow these links? We can only assume that Google sometimes does follow these links — or plans to follow them in the future. When Are No Follow Links Used? Google gives us three examples of when they recommend using the no follow attribute: 1. Untrusted content. All links to sites that you don’t trust should be no follow. Let’s say your website contains a forum which allows users to post links. These links should be no followed automatically to prevent abuse. Paid links. Google asks webmasters not to try and influence rankings through buying links. If your site does contain some form of paid-for links, such as advertisements, Google asks you to make this link no follow. Links that needn’t be crawled. When Google (and other search engines) matches searchers with websites, it’s not actually using a live version of the web. Instead, it’s using its index, which is Google’s approximation of the web. To build its index, Google sends out “robots” known as “spiders” to “crawl” the web. As you might imagine, it’s very important that Google’s spiders are able to crawl your website! If they don’t, users won’t be able to find you on Google. Google’s spiders don’t crawl endlessly; they have a limited budget. This might mean that they are unable to fully crawl large sites. If you have links to something like a member’s area on your website, then there’s no point having the spiders waste their budget crawling that link as they won’t be able to sign in without a username and a password. You can use the no follow attribute to signal to the spiders that this link shouldn’t be crawled, which frees up their budget to be used elsewhere.
